Sometimes I just can't help myself...

Saturday, October 4, 2014
During our doll photoshoot, Ashley snapped some photos of the kids while they played and waited for us to be ready for them. I just thought I would share how sweet these simple snapshots turned out.  What's even better is how amazing (and beautiful) these two little kids are inside & out.

Grace is almost 4. She is my little social butterfly. She has the sweetest heart, my little helper. She is thoughtful and sensitive. She is curious and loves to learn. She is my little best friend and partner in crime.

Hudson is 15 months. He is literally one of the sweetest kids alive. He is always happy and smiley. He is calm and patient. He is an entertainer and snuggler. He brings a smile to everyone's face and gives out hugs freely.

Momma.

My momma's birthday was on Sunday. We had a fun little day. Her birthday was Sunday, and she typically makes dinner every single Sunday for all of the kids. { A lot of times it's the best meal my husband eats all week. } So on her special day, I took the load and made my mom's dinner of choice, and some yummy pie because that's what she wanted instead of cake. Sweet & Sour Chicken and Banana Creme Pie. She's easy to please. Remember when I shared this recipe? Well I made the chunky monkey version and OMG! It was so tastey. Lucky me I have leftovers in my fridge!

She got her own Heartstring necklace by Lisa Leonard. Also she got some kitchen accessories from Pier One. { I may just have bought myself the same ones and I just LOVE them }She got other things too, but I only took pictures of what I gave her. Maha.

My momma is one of my very best friends. We do so much together. Mostly we just dream of beautiful houses filled with beautiful furniture, she's my craft consultant {she has lots of handy knowledge}, she has impeccable taste, she's my Gracie's FAVORITE babysitter, plus she taught me how to shop till I drop. What more could a girl ask for in a Mom? Oh yeah, she is also filled with lots of good mom-advice on how to keep my child alive & happy.

Happy Birthday Mom! We love ya!

Forever.

This has been the song replaying in my head for the past 2 months since we set the date for our sealing.
And there ain't no way I'm lettin' you go now
And there ain't no way and there ain't no how
I'll never see that day
Cause I'm keeping you forever and for always
We will be together all of our days
Wanna wake up every  morning to your sweet face
Always.......
Everytime I look at my husband I swear it instantly starts playing in my mind.
[Weird? Weird.]

Well, this weekend was the long awaited for day!
Our little family was sealed in the Latter Day Saint temple for time and all eternity.
[pictures to come soon]
My whole family made it into town.
We ate a big yummy dinner on Sunday [thanks mom], and played card games.
Here are some snapshots from my phone from this wonderful weekend.

They put a poster and ribbons on our car.
It says "for time and all eternity"

Gracie & her Great Grandma Whittaker.
She was so tired she would sleep in anyone's arms who let her.

Gracie met her Uncle Jake & Aunt Kristen. She loved them.

And I just had to include a  picture of my shoes that I wore with my wedding dress.
I love them. I could just hang them on the wall and look at them all the time.

In other big Allen family news.. Gracie can sit in a shopping cart on her own now!
Except she kinda falls over if you don't watch her.

Whoo hoo! No more lugging around the car seat!
This momma couldn't be more ecstatic!!
