Making the perfect gift.

Saturday, September 20, 2014
My very best friend from my teenagerhood is getting married & I am SO excited for her to join the amazing world of the married's.
I really love to give gifts with a special touch, that will still have meaning and significance in years to come. Little touches go a long way to make a present stand out among the hoards of wedding presents.

I am so in love with this card I ordered from Treat by Shutterfly
It is custom designed &made for my specific occasion and is even LESS expensive than a lot of standard cards at the regular store.
Plus, there's only ONE like it in the world. Talk about upping the special factor.

There are so many beautiful customizable designs on their website for all occasions to choose from.

I'm adding this card on top of a special present that I don't want to share just yet, since the wedding hast happened yet.. eh emm. I am so excited to add this sweet touch as the icing on top of something beautiful and handmade for my dear friend.

[Link Love] Cozy. Cottage. Cute.

Monday, June 25, 2012
I stumbled across this picture on Pinterest of a little boys nursery. The dresser really caught my eye, I really love the numbers on the drawers. So cute. I thought I'd just take a quick look at the whole room because it was so soft and sweet.

You can see the whole room here
I absolutely fell in love with all the handmade touches and unique art Sarah used [and I think even made] in this room.  It is so fresh, modern, but classic. Everything I think a little boy's room should be.

I got caught up looking through Sarah's whole blog, Cozy. Cottage. Cute.
The rest of her house is just as fresh and filled with cottage charm. You should definitely go stop by her blog and take a look. Her list of DIY Projects has lots of inspiration.

I love this heart art.

Definitely worth stopping by! I love finding new blogs filled with  lots of inspiration!

I love these chevron messenger bags from Marigold & Sage.

I want a Gussy Sews bag SO bad. Omgosh, they are adorable! Ps, you get to choose your ruffle! Love that!

I love these large bloom necklaces from Little Miss Momma. I have the mustard one &it's one of my absolute favorites.

I love this print from The Wheatfield. Her art is whimsical & fun. I love it all!
I love these Shine necklaces from The Shine Project. Seriously, what could be better than wearing this pretty little reminder to do a little good each day. I'm giving these as gifts this year for sure!

Last, I love these statement necklaces from LoveStitched. So darling with just about everything I can think of.

What are some of your favorite handmade items? I'd love to see them!

I've been missing lately. MIA in the bloggy world, my favorite world of all!
I've come down with summer lazy-haziness. You know how it goes, the heat comes, the days blur, pools constantly call your name, the sleepiness gets ya... it's been the typical scene for us.
Add a little almost 7 month old and that's the world I've been lost in.
It's a fabulous world let me just tell ya!

I have a wonderful blog to share with you. This is a good one folks.
Ashley is probably one of the cutest moms ever, and her little boy is so precious!
We live almost parallel lives I feel... we both have little ones, we both have joys and woes of being young mothers.
Except of course she does it all in much cuter outfits than me, she's much more clever, and everything she makes is gorgeous.
Okay, so our lives aren't so parrallel. But I still like to think they are.
Here she is: Little Miss Momma.
I told you she was cute.
And she just unveiled her craft room, and I have some serious room envy.
I love all the bright colors! and the furniture she refinished in fabulous colors by Martha Stewart.
I've been wrapped up in her blog reading through her past posts for the last few days, staying up WAYYY past my bed time.
I don't even know her and I feel like we are already friends. Best friends in fact.
Not to mention she makes some super adorable things and sells them on etsy!

To browse her shop click here.
You should all go stop by... like now.

DIY Decorator Series

Wednesday, June 29, 2011
Oooooo I am excited about this!
I have something awesome to share with you.
If you saw this before I did then just play along with me for a sec okay?

I stumbled across this site, and I absolutely love it! It makes me wonder with all the blog hopping I do where it has been hiding for this long. But anyways, so glad I found it now.
Beth has some wonderful pointers and really fun ideas on how to make your house a home, most of them are simple and can be done by anyone.

But even better is that right now she is doing a How to Decorate for the DIY'er series.
Love it! Check it out!
