Grace's Nursery [almost] done.

Thursday, May 3, 2012
We moved into our home just before Gracieloo turned 1 so when I went about doing her room, I didn't want it to be a new baby kind of nursery but every bit as sweet and lovely.
We rent our home so painting is out of the question, which is a real bummer.

I really love how her room turned out, there are still last touches to be made. But I feel like if I didn't take finally blog about it, I might not get around to it until I'm transitioning her to a toddler room.

I was going for classic, but definitely hand made. Now that I think about it, I didn't spend that much money at all on this room. I think at the end, with the rug and window treatments it was about $150.
So here we go.

The crib was given to me.
I made the quilt from the Hello Lucious line from Moda.
Rug is from World Market.

Handmade pendant banner, with letters from Hobby Lobby.

Misc. accessories and those darling sandals. I love.

Blessing dress. Too gorgeous to not display. At least until she decides to start playing with it, then it will have to be put away.

These are her favorite stuffed animals from Anthropologie. She hardly ever sets them down.
The chest is my toy box from when I was a little girl. My mom decoupaged it like 15 years ago, so it definitely needs a redo. I just can't make up my mind so it remains.

And of course the union jack I made for her.

This room is definitely happy, cheerful, and I love the handmade quirkiness.
