Just what I needed.

My life has been a little hectic lately. Gracie girl is sick with SOMETHING wretched. Yes, if you remember she just got over a cold now she's onto something much worse. It's not a pretty sight. I am one tired mommy.
Here is what my life has been a lot like lately:
These pictures break my mom heart. Poor little girl.

Yesterday I was feeling a little over whelmed with everything and out of no where I received this message

"I've been noticing your blog lately and I thought I would encourage you because sometimes it is nice to hear encouragement from people we don't hear from all the time.
I totally see you eventually being this extremely well known mother/wife role model. Your positivity and ability to appreciate beauty is such a wonderful thing. I totally see women looking to the thiings you have to say when they need a break, encouragement, to be uplifted or just have fun for a minute during their busy day. People will look to you and see how natural it can be to be a productive, beautiful woman at any age and stay motivated by love no matter the situation.
Just thought I would share."

This note was from a girl I haven't seen since high school, haven't talked to in even longer. I was stunned by the  kindness. Seriously. I don't even feel like I deserve that kind of kindness. So many days I go to bed thinking that my day wasn't productive, that I'm wasting my time, that I am making ZERO impact and BAM just like that I realized little by little I might, just maybe, be doing something positive here at Paddington Way.

Then I thought, how often do I look at someones blog and totally fall in love and NEVER offer any words of encouragement. Or even see someone I know having a hard day and never say a thing to them, or even more pitiful... how often do I check up on my friends and let them know I care.

It's not hard to drop a little note to let someone know that we love what they're doing, or we are thinking of them. I'm going to try to be better at this a little more often because I want to spread sunshine like this friend did to me.

Think how wonderful a world it would be if we were all a little more kind, if we were to reach out a hand to the people who are struggling, just told the people that we admire what a great job they are doing, or even  just tried to be a friend to those around us.

That was such a nice message from your friend. I remember reading someone's blog and she sounded like she was having some kind of breakdown so I emailed her with some kind words and advice, as I'd been through something similar, and she responded like 'yea yea I'm glad it worked for you but I won't be trying it' and I was like woah! What a waste of energy!
Visiting from the hop.
